About Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kanadaşı

Professor Dr. Mehmet Kanadaşı was born in 1971 in the Kadirli district of Osmaniye. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in Adana, he began his medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and graduated in 1993, earning the title of medical doctor. Dr. Kanadaşı briefly served as a research assistant at the Department of Pediatric Diseases at Ege University Faculty of Medicine between 1993 and 1994. He then completed his cardiology residency at Çukurova University’s Department of Cardiology between 1994 and 1999 and has continued to serve as a specialist in the same department since then.

Dr. Kanadaşı worked with the title of Assistant Professor between 2002 and 2005. In 2003, he spent a year at Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital, and in 2005, he received six months of training in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia at the Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy.

He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2005 and was promoted to Professor in 2011. Currently, Dr. Kanadaşı continues his academic work as a faculty member at the Department of Cardiology at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine. He is a member of the Turkish and European Societies of Cardiology and Arrhythmia Working Groups. Dr. Kanadaşı is married and has three children.
