HALCYON is a state-of-the-art radiotherapy device installed at ONKOMER, making it the first facility in Turkey to offer advanced radiation therapy. The TRUEBEAM and TRUEBEAM SDX systems also provide highly accurate and precise radiotherapy, incorporating advanced image acquisition to synchronize tumor movement for targeted treatment. With its computer-controlled processes, TrueBeam rotates around the patient to deliver radiation doses and imaging simultaneously. The use of imaging techniques, such as ultrasound, video imaging, and various forms of CT and MRI, enable image-guided radiotherapy for maximum effectiveness and minimal damage to surrounding healthy tissue. Furthermore, Velocity Treatment Planning System is a comprehensive computer software that aids in treatment decision-making and planning by compiling information from various imaging sources and treatment systems. Additionally, ONKOMER utilizes the GAMMAMED PLUS HDR brachytherapy device for in-body treatments targeting large-volume tumors in organs with tubular shapes, such as the uterus, esophagus, and bronchi.
