Review Policy

Authenticity

How do we ensure reviews are authentic? We contact every new reviewer by phone and email. This dual verification process involves calling each reviewer to confirm their review and sending an email asking them to verify their review.

Once we confirm the reviewer’s email and/or phone number, the review is marked as 'verified'.

We conduct random checks to ensure reviews are not posted by clinic staff or staff from other clinics. Only genuine patients can leave reviews on our site. If there is no record of you contacting the clinic through our site, your review may be removed.

You cannot submit a review on behalf of someone else. However, if there are special circumstances, you can email our reviews team for assistance.

Originality

While we support recycling, this doesn’t apply to reviews. If your review has been published elsewhere, it will not be accepted on DrVisor.com.

Relevance

When writing your review, include details that are important to others. What treatment did you receive at the clinic? What motivated you to seek this treatment? Additionally, sharing the cost and whether you found the treatment to be worth it can be highly relevant.

Usefulness

The most helpful reviews provide a narrative of your treatment journey. They offer insights that you won’t find in a brochure or advertisement. A valuable review should answer:

What treatment did you undergo?

How was your overall experience?

Were you satisfied with the results?

Including a photo can enhance the usefulness and appeal of your review.

Review & Feedback Guidelines

Legal

We cannot publish claims regarding the accuracy of a clinic’s treatment or diagnosis, as verifying such claims would require extensive medical studies.

Reviews must not be defamatory under UK law, regardless of the clinic's location, as DrVisor.com operates within the UK jurisdiction.

Allegations of criminal activity or medical negligence should be reported to the appropriate authorities. We do not have jurisdiction over the clinics listed on our site.

If there are ongoing legal proceedings between the reviewer and the clinic, we will not publish the review to avoid interfering with those proceedings.

Your review must be based on a treatment you personally received at the clinic in question.

We cannot include hearsay in reviews. Hearsay is any unverified information, such as second-hand reports.

Reviewers must be over 18 years old.

You must have been a patient at the clinic and undergone the treatment you are reviewing.

A legal guardian may leave a review on behalf of a minor, but no personal information that could identify the patient should be included.

When publishing a review, ensure that it is accurate and not misleading, as posting false information can have legal consequences, regardless of whether the review is positive or negative.

Your review should focus on your treatment at the clinic, not on any individual staff member. Personal insults or accusations are not allowed.

Privacy

Do not include any contact information in your review.

Do not mention staff members by name; refer only to the business.

False Reviews

False reviews are not permitted.

Clinic owners are prohibited from writing reviews or encouraging associates or staff to write reviews.

False reviews will be deleted, and the clinic may be removed from DrVisor.com’s listings.

We employ various automated and manual security measures, such as IP tracking and geo-coding, to identify and remove false reviews.

If your review breaks any of these guidelines, it will not be published. DrVisor.com reserves the right to refuse to publish any review for any reason and to delete reviews without notification.

Your Privacy

When you write a review, we will display only your first name and city. Your verification details (full name, email, phone number, and country details) are stored securely and will never be shown to the public. We reserve the right to contact you by phone, email, or text to verify details or request more information to improve the quality of the review.

Verification

We call and email all reviewers to confirm that they are genuine. We may also follow up for additional information by phone or email. We will publish reviews that meet our guidelines even if they have not been verified.
